My expertise as a software engineer and future coach forms the foundation for my coaching model of Agile principles. The same iterative approach that benefits modern software development can also be applied to leadership development. By using agile principles to guide leadership habits, leaders can continually improve their effectiveness, adaptability, and impact on their teams and organizations. By encouraging good leadership habits based on high emotional intelligence (EI), this iterative model of leadership development outlines strategies for leaders to identify, rank, and improve their leadership habits over time. While the model can be used by anyone who wants to become a better leader, many of the phrases and concepts are very similar to those in technical leadership roles.
